3성 활발 후열 딜러.
딜링 계수는 전반적으로 높지는 않지만 나름 공속이 빠른 편이며 스킬도 재사용 시간이 짧은 편이라 스킬을 난사해서 딜링을 챙겨가는 타입의 딜러다.
저학년 스킬은 낮은 계수의 공격을 여러명에게 튕겨서 딜링을 하는 스킬인데 학년이 높아질수록 계수와 튕기는 횟수가 증가하는 특이한 스킬이다.
고학년 스킬은 가장 가까운 대상에게 물리딜을 주는 단순 딜링 스킬이다.
기본적으로 고학년 스킬 쿨타임이 37초로 짧은 편이라 웨이브마다 사용할 수 있을 정도이며 저학년 스킬의 경우 높은 학년이 될 수록 여러명에게 튕겨서 다수를 상대로 화력이 높은 편이다.
문제는 스킬이 학년에 계수와 튕기는 횟수가 종속되어 있다보니 승자 줘팸터나 GTA, 크래파스 처럼 1학년으로 고정되어 있는 컨텐츠의 경우 버터의 효용성이 급감한다는 점이다.
덕분에 PVP와 일부 던전에서는 버터가 2성 딜러만도 못한 능력을 보여주는 경우도 있으니 사용에 주의가 필요하다.
정식 오픈 이후 열린 첫 테마 극장의 주인공으로 등장한다.
수인 자체가 시키면 거의 해주는 이미지에 가깝지만 버터는 그중에서도 너무 착해서 거의 노동 착취를 당하는 수준이었는데 에슈르에게 전단지 돌리기 알바를 전단지 한장당 도토리 한개씩을 받기로 약속을 하고 하게 되는 것을 에르핀이 버터를 바보라 놀리면서 그러니까 당하는 거라고 하고는 도망친다.
버터는 바보라는 소리를 듣기 싫어서 똑똑해지고자 쓰레기통에서 가장 두꺼운 책인 물리학책을 보게 되지만 전혀 이해를 못하는데 코미가 등장해[3] 이과보다는 문과가 더욱 좋다며 버터를 에슈르에게 데려가서 마법학원 학생으로 팔아넘기고 과자를 챙겨간다.
이후 에슈르에게 마법 교육을 받게 되는데 정작 마법은 쓸 수 없고 어디까지나 이론 교육만 받았으며 마법은 타고나야만 쓸 수 있다는 소리를 들은 뒤 수강료로 전단지 돌리기 알바를 할 때의 두배의 전단지를 받게 된다. 결국 다시 전단지를 돌리게 되는데 가지 에르핀이 바보라 그런거에 당하는거 아니냐며 놀림을 받고 버터가 혼란에 빠지는데 마요의 가게에서 교주가 사용하던 권총이 버터에게 자신을 쓰라고 속삭이게 된다.
이후 창문을 깨고 권총을 든 순간 버터가 폭주하기 시작하는데 에슈르의 빵집에 가서 권총을 쏴대며 에르핀과 에슈르가 한 잘못을 읊고는 이후 코미까지 협박한다.[4] 이때 이번 테마 극장의 희대의 명대사를 구사하는데, 바로 "신캐가 더 나오지 않도록 트릭컬을 서비스 종료시킬 것이다.". 심지어 버터 뒤편에 갈기갈기 찢어진 트릭컬 리바이브 로고까지 보인다(...). 아무도 이 말의 의미를 알아듣지 못하다가 코미만이 "버터! 두 번째 섭종은 진짜 위험하다고!"라고 응수하고, 그제서야 버터와 에르핀이 두통을 호소한다. 버터를 팔아넘겼던 값인 과자 한 봉지가 코미의 정당한 노동 보수였다느니 자신은 중간에서 서로를 소개시켜 주고 수수료를 받아갔다느니 하며 애써 자신이 버터를 팔아넘겼다는 사실을 부정하는데, 똑똑해졌다고 한들 버터는 버터라는 것인지 이를 지적하지 못한다. 이때도 버터 본체의 지능 탓인지, 더 악랄한 잔혹행위 없이 그냥 파묻히기만 했다. 아무것도 안하고 숨만 쉬기가 버킷 리스트에 있었다는 에르핀의 드립은 덤.
이후 깨어난 버터는 권총을 집었을 때의 기억이 완전히 없어지고 원래의 순둥순둥한 버터의 성격으로 돌아왔다.

교주가 권총을 사용했을 때 문제가 없었던 것이 버터가 권총을 집어들더니 지능까지 상승하며 폭주한 이유가 궁금해진 에슈르. 무료로 빵까지 받으면서 상담을 진행하게 된 버터는 여전히 그 때의 일을 기억하지 못하지만 '가끔마다 자신이 학교를 부수는 꿈을 꾼다'는 이야기를 하는데, 그때마다 꿈에서 깨기 직전 자신과 똑같은 형체가 나타나 " 더 접근하면 현실로 만들어 주마. 앞으로 92번 남았다.[1] "골든 리트리버는 100개의 옐로 카드를 가졌고, 한숨 자고 나면 옐로 카드가 전부 회복된다" 강형욱 훈련사의 비유에서 유래된 발언. 트레일러에서도 버터의 옐로 카드가 시시각각 바닥나는 연출이 나온다. "라는 한 마디를 남긴다는 것. 공포에 휩싸인 에슈르는 연구를 그만둔다. [2] 이 상황의 에슈르는 버터가 총 때문에 바뀌었다기엔 총을 집기 전에도 화를 한번 냈었다는 점에 의문을 갖고 있었는데, 이 꿈 얘기에서 힌트를 얻어 버터의 내면에 야수가 살고 있다고 확정 짓고는 전단지 알바 모집 명단에서 버터를 제외했다.
- 한때는 이름답게 버터를 쓰는 음식이랑 엮이는 밈이 유행했고 제작진들도 인지했는지 버터를 넣은 음식이 그려진 가구가 CBT부터 나왔다.
- CBT 때는 게임시작 담당을 맡았는데 에르핀보다는 적지만 2위일 정도로 교주들에게 볼이 많이 당겨진 사도였다. 지금은 모든 사도들이 랜덤으로 게임시작 담당을 맡으면서 입지가 살짝 위험해졌지만 그래도 그동안 CBT에서 푸쉬를 많이 받았기에 10월 5일 업데이트 예고영상에서 메인으로 등장하면서 첫 테마극장의멜트다운 버터의 주인공으로 발탁하게 되었다.[7]
이벤트는 2023년 10월 5일부터 19일까지 진행.
- 개 수인으로 테마극장 "멜트다운 버터"의 묘사를 보면 기반이 되는 종은 골든 리트리버로 추정된다.
- 이 때문인지 GTA5를 패러디한 던전인 Gold Thief Attack의 표지에서 촙을 패러디하였다.
- 하필이면 버터 이벤트 직전에 호감도 버그로 인한 유저들의 폭발이 있으면서 본의 아니게 버터의 입을 빌려 자학개그를 해버린 셈이 되었다.
- 순수하고 호구 같은 면이 있고 바보라고 불리지만, '학습 곡선은 계단형 그래프같이 생겼다'는 독백이나 '요정들은 다 마법을 쓸 줄 아는데 요정왕국에 마법학교를 세운 에슈르는 진짜 똑똑하긴 한거냐'는 합리적인 의심을 하는 등, 같은 수인인 베니나 티그처럼 머리가 나쁜 캐릭터는 아니다.[8]
실제로 골든 리트리버는 상위권의 지능을 가진 견종이다.
- 사도 모집에서 3성이 뽑혔을때 나오는 세마디의 마지막에 "내 이름은~" 류의 문구에서 버터만 유일하게 "버터 이름은요~"라며 이름을 두번 밝힌다.
- 패치 로딩중에 '버터 나비 쫓는 중'이라는 멘트도 나온다.
