[br]An avid and sought after chamber musician, Danny has recently collaborated with Stephen Prutsman, Andres Diaz, Roberto Diaz, Clive Greensmith, Soovin Kim, Randall Scarlata, Johannes Moser, Lluis Claret, Kim Kashkashian, Jaime Laredo, Sharon Robinson, Joseph Kalichstein, Barry Shiffman Vivian Weilerstein, Burt Hara, and Donald Weilerstein. He performs with with Kafka Quartet, Music Street, Wellesley Chamber Players, East Coast Chamber Orchestra (ECCO), Constantia, and the Chameleon Arts Ensemble. From 2016-2017, Danny was a member of Ensemble DITTO, and in April 2018, Danny partnered up with double bassist, Minje Sung, to begin their journey as duo PUNCH; garnering a lot of attention with their sold-out concert at the Seoul Arts Center and features on: JTBC Classic Today, Mnet Classic Dominant, and Marie Claire Korea.[br]Danny was Playbills choice in Scene Playbill Magazine, featured on Mnets Classic Dominant, and featured on Arirangs Heart to Heart TV show. His music has been featured on Korean radio and TV channels: KBS, Arirang, JTBC, Mnet, EBS, SBS, TVN. Danny has been invited to Music@Menlo (International Program), Lake Champlain Chamber Music Festival (Kafka Quartet Resident Ensemble), Summerfest at La Jolla, Perlman Chamber Music Program, Banff Chamber Program, and has given recitals at the Kennedy Center, Jordan Hall, Fanneuil Hall, and Old South Meeting Place.[br]In the summer of 2018, Danny will make his Rockport Music debut playing alongside Stephen Prutsman Barry Shiffman, Clive Greensmith, Roberto Diaz, and Andres Diaz. The Kafka Quartet will also be making their return as the Resident Ensemble at LCCMF. As someone that feels passionate about bringing a larger audience to the world of classical music, Danny is leading a project on Naver V Live (Koreas Youtube) and has his own series, attracting thousands of viewers each show.[br]A passionate teacher, Danny teaches at the New England Conservatorys Preparatory School as well as privately in Boston and Korea. A strong believer in creating a tangible change in the world through music, Danny has been a part of Kim Kashkashians Music for Food initiative since its inception and was the coordinator for the Womens Lunch Place Concert Series for 5 years. Since summer 2017, Danny is a proud representative of OXFAM Korea.[br]Born in Chicago and raised in Philadelphia, Danny started with the Suzuki program and eventually went on to be mentored by Helen Kwalwasser. He has also presented acclaimed recitals in the US such at the Kennedy Center, Jordan Hall, Fanneuil Hall, and Old South Meeting Place.[br]An outgoing and engaging personality, Danny is well-known media personality and has been profiled on Korean television media such as JTBC Classic Today, Mnet Classic Dominant, Arirang Heart to Heart, and in print media, Marie Claire Korea, and was Playbills Choice in Scene Playbill Magazine. He has also garnered worldwide attention as a speaker, giving lectures in Korea sponsored by Lotte and the COEX Starfield Library. Most recently, Danny shared his artistry and commentary at a TEDxBeaconStreet conference, held at the historic Fenway Park.[br]Music education is a priority for Danny; he has taught at New England Conservatorys Preparatory School, and leads Torontos Academy Chamber Orchestra alongside Barry Shiffman at the Royal Conservatory of Music. In Korea, he has also been featured with Koreas Sesame Street equivalent, the character Pinkfong to educate and excite the youngest generation of our world about the impact of music.[br]A strong believer in creating a tangible change in the world through the arts, Danny was a regular participant of Kim Kashkashians Music for Food, a community project in which musicians volunteer their performances, and audience donations go to a local food pantry. He has done this since its inception, serving as a coordinator for the (organizing performers to share their music with the wonderful ladies at the shelter) Womens Lunch Place Concert Series for five years. In addition, he is a proud representative of OXFAM Korea.[br]Dannys personal interests include taking long walks, drinking tea, listening to jazz (dreams of jamming with Bill Evans) loves food and is in search of the perfect Bibimbap.
