== 개요 ==
시겔라는 [[그람 음성]] 간균의 한 속으로, [[이질(질병)|이질]]의 원인균으로 잘 알려져 있다. 이름의 유래는 이 균을 처음 발견한 일본의 생물학자 시가 기요시(志賀潔, Kiyoshi Shiga)의 성이다.
