[[폴 매카트니]]가 쓴 동요중 가장 대표적인 곡으로 여겨지고 있다. 폴 매카트니는 이 곡에 대해 정말 동요가 맞고, 그 당시 어린 친척이 몇 명 있었는데 친척들을 위해 놀아주면서 노래를 불러주곤 했다고 한다. 나중엔 잊혀질 곡이겠지만, 친척들과 놀아줄 때 부를 곡으로 지었다고 한다. 근데 이 노래가 예상 외로 축구 경기장에서 많이 불려지자 좋아했다고 한다. 이 곡을 녹음한 후 인도에서도 불렀는데, 'E, F, G, H, I, jai Guru Dev'라고 불러 그 당시 마하리시에게 경의를 표했다고 한다. 이처럼 음도 간단하고[* 녹음이 6시간도 안걸렸다고 한다.] 폴 매카트니 특유의 중독성 있는 멜로디 때문에 매카트니의 라이브 공연에도 간간히 연주되는 곡이다.
