방탄소년단 RM의 신곡 ‘Come back to me'가 5월 10일 발매된다. 오는 5월 24일 발매될 그의 두 번째 솔로 앨범 ‘Right Place, Wrong Person'의 선공개 곡이다.

‘Come back to me'는 앨범의 메인 테마인 ‘right and wrong'에 대한 고민을 담았다. ‘모든 것은 되돌아온다. 모든 것은 아닐지도 모르지만'이라는 이야기를 인디 팝(Indie pop) 장르의 음악에 담아 노래한다. RM은 새로운 것에 도전하고 싶으면서도 한편으로는 현실에 안주하고 싶어하는, 사람들의 모순된 감정을 들여다 본다.

잔잔하게 깔리는 RM의 목소리 위로 얹어진 휘파람 소리, 기타 리프와 밴드 사운드가 곡의 분위기를 극대화한다. 밴드 혁오의 오혁이 작곡과 편곡을 맡았고, 대만의 5인조 밴드 선셋 롤러코스터(Sunset Rollercoaster)의 Kuo(궈궈)가 기타, 베이스 세션으로 참여했다.

이 곡이 수록된 RM의 솔로 앨범 ‘Right Place, Wrong Person'은 5월 24일 발표된다. 이 앨범은 ‘장소에 어울리지 않는 이방인'처럼 누구나 살면서 한 번쯤 느꼈을 보편적인 감정을 이야기한다. 앨범에는 ‘Come back to me'를 포함해 총 11곡이 담긴다.
