== 개요 ==
미국의 펑크(Funk)/[[소울 음악|소울]] 그룹 [[알치 벨 앤 더 드렐스]]의 싱글이며 이들의 데뷔 앨범 [[Tighten Up(앨범)|Tighten Up]]의 첫 싱글로 1968년 2월에 발매되었다.

== 상세 ==
신나는 댄스곡이며 1968년 미국에서 공전의 히트를 쳤다.

곡의 첫부분에서 그루비한 베이스가 연주되다가 통통 튀는 드럼 연주가 들어오자마자 펑키한 기타 연주가 시작된다. 몇 초 후 이 사운드 위로 리드 싱어 [[알치 벨]]이 노래 대신에 말을 한다.

밑에 가사에서 "Hi everybody"부터 "Tighten up on that organ now" 부분이고 리스너들의 흥을 돋구는 역할을 한다. 알치 벨이 "I want you to tighten it up for me now"라고 말한 뒤로 드럼 솔로가 펼쳐지고, "Tighten up on that bass now" 이후에 베이스 연주가 더해지며 "Now let that guitar fall in" 후에 펑키한 기타가 다시 추가된다.

"Yeah, you do the tighten up"부터 "Tighten it up now"까지 알치 벨이 노래를 부르고, 이 보컬 파트 중간에 "Now make it mellow"에선 [[혼 섹션]]이 더해진다. 이후 유사한 곡 전개가 반복되다 곡 후반부에서 박수 소리가 추가된다.
