== 개요 ==
[[International Baccalaureate|IB]] 의 과정 group 5의 과목 중 하나이며 2019년 8월부터 열리는 수학 코스다. Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches라고 부르기 귀찮기에 줄여서 Math AA라고 부른다. 기존의 Mathematics HL/SL 커리큘럼과 매우 유사하다.

시험 둘다 공통적으로 3개의 시험을 치르게된다. 수학 HL을 해보면 알겠지만 수학 혼자 시험양이 압도적으로 많다. Paper를 3개씩이나 보는데다가 각각시간도 길고 Multiple Choice도 없어서 전 과목중에 가장 힘든 시험이 될 확률이 높다. 자신이 평소에 수학이 자신이 있었어도 단단히 대비를 하고 치자. 

수학에서는 Paper 2/3에서 계산기가 허용되는데, Computer Algebra System(CAS)을 지원하는 계산기는 허용이 되지 않는다[* TI-nSpire CX II CAS,TI-Nspire CX II-T CAS,TI-Nspire CX II-C CAS 모델들은 CAS 모드를 끄고 사용할수 있다. ]. 그냥 시험 문제를 계산기에 넣으면 풀어버리는 사기템이기 때문. 대신 개수에는 제한이 없으므로 Ti-nSpire CAS없는 버전과 카시오 공학계산기를 가져가 간단한 계산은 카시오로 하고 카시오로 못하는 계산은 엔스파이어로 하는 것도 방법.

계산기 사용이 불가능하다.
HL은 총 120분과 총 110 marks를 받을 수 있고 SL은 총 90분과 총 80 marks를 받을 수 있다.

=== Paper 2 ===
계산기 사용이 가능하다.
HL은 총 120분과 총 110 marks를 받을 수 있고 SL은 총 90분과 총 80 marks를 받을 수 있다. 맨뒤의 킬러문제들로 인해 점수가 뭉텅 깎여나가는 기적을 볼 수 있다. 

=== Paper 3 ===
HL만 치고 계산기 사용이 가능하다.
마치 Paper 1/2의 마지막 어려운 문제들을 가져다 더 어렵게 해놓은 문제 2개가 출제되며 총 60분과 총 55 marks를 받을 수 있다.
