1930년대 NBC 방송국의 1930년대 유명 라디오 희극인인 드와이트 라썸과 모 야훼가 작사작곡한 컨츄리 음악으로 대단히 막장스러운 가정을 우스갯소리로 부르는 풍자음악.

My father fell in love with her and soon they, too, were wed.

오래전에 내가 스물 세살때 나는 정말 아름다운 과부와 결혼을 했지.
이 과부에게는 다 큰 붉은색 머리칼을 가진 딸이 있었다네.
근데 그만 우리 아버지가 그 딸과 사랑에 빠진거야...그리고 결혼을 해버렸어!!

For my daughter was my mother, 'cause she was my father's wife.
To complicate the matter, even though it brought me joy
I soon became the father of a bouncing baby boy.

나의 아버지가 나의 사위가 되어버리고 이로부터 내 삶은 바뀌어버렸어!
나의 딸은 나의 엄마가 되어버렸지. 왜냐면 그녀는 나의 아버지의 부인이니깐.
이런 해괴한 일에도 불구하고 더 복잡한 문제가 생겨버렸어.
나는 곧 아들을 낳아서 아버지가 되어버린거야.

And so became my uncle, though it made me very sad
For if he was my uncle, then that also made him brother
To the widow's grown-up daughter, who, of course, was my step-mother.

나의 아기는 나의 아버지에겐 처남이 되어버리고..
그리고 나의 삼촌이 되어 버렸지 그건 내게 아주 슬픈일이라고...
왜냐면 내 아기는 나의 새엄마가 되어버린 딸의 남동생이 되었으니깐!

울 아버지의 부인은 자식을 갖게 되었어.
그 아기는 나의 손자가 되었지 왜냐면 그는 내 딸의 아들이니깐
내 부인은 이제 나의 엄마의 엄마가 되었어...그것은 우울한 일이야.
왜냐면 그녀는 나의 부인이지만 나의 할머니이기도 하니깐...

그렇다면 내 부인이 나의 할머니라면 나는 그녀의 손자라고
나는 매순간 생각을 했어..그건 거의 나를 미치게 만들지경이었어.
(이건 정말 내가 본 것중에 제일 희한한 경우군요.)
