1980년에 작곡자 Chaz Jankel에 의해서 최초로 녹음된 후 A&M레코드에서 발매된 데뷔작의 셀프 타이틀 앨범 'Chaz Jankel'에 수록됐지만 1981년

스페인어 단어 때문이다. Corrida는 원래 의미는 질주라는 명사이지만 비속어로 오르가즘이라는 뜻이 있어서, 유튜브에서 비속어와 관련된 단어를 치면 검색이 나오지 않는 것이다.

퀸시 존스 본인은 프로듀싱만 했고, 가수는 Dune(Charles May)과 Patti Austin이다. 이 곡은 역시 퀸시 존스에 의한 커버가 디스코 음악으로 크게 히트하면서 널리 알려지게 되었다.
