영국의 메탈 밴드 데프 레파드가 1989년 1월에 발매한 싱글이며 이들의 4집 Hysteria의 7번째 싱글로 발매되었다.


2. 상세[편집]

조 엘리엇이 친구가 갖고 있던 카세트 테이프 음반을 듣고 아이디어를 얻어 쓰기 시작한 곡. 본래는 별 다른 가사 없이 반주 위주로 작곡되다가 가사의 일부인 "Satellite of Love"가 추가되고 나서 6, 70년대 록 아티스트들에 대한 나름의 헌정이라는 맥락을 갖고 곡이 형태를 갖추기 시작했다고 한다. 그래서인지 가사에 6, 70년대 록 아티스트들의 이름과 곡명이 많이 등장하는 것이 특징.
