알라딘을 원작으로 하는 2019년 실사 영화
알라딘의
사운드트랙이다.
앨런 멩컨이 작곡,
벤지 파섹과 저스틴 폴이 작사를 하였으며,
알라딘 역의
미나 마수드와
자스민 역의
나오미 스콧이 불렀다.
작중에서
알라딘과
자스민은 달이 떠오르면 다시 만날 것을 약속하지만 알라딘이
자파에게 납치당해 약속을 지키지 못하게 된다. 자스민을 찾아갈 수 없는 알라딘과 그 사실을 모른채 기다리는 자스민이 달을 바라보고 서로를 생각하며 부르는 노래이다.
녹음과 촬영이 모두 완료되었으나
라자와 배경의 CG 작업 진행 중 해당 장면의 삭제가 결정되었다. 영화 개봉 3개월 가량이 지난 뒤 노래가 싱글로 발매되었고 미완성된 삭제장면은 블루레이의 부가영상으로 삽입되었다.
