헤로인을 거래했던 마약 판매상의 아이들에 관한 곡이다. 그는 자신의 아이들을 매일같이
고문했고, 온통 검게 칠한 창문이 있는 좁은 방에 아이들을 가둬놓고 마치 짐승처럼 '
사육'했다고 한다. 나중에 지역 주민들과 경찰들이 아이들을 발견했을 때 그들은 마치 사람이 아닌 짐승처럼 행동했다고 한다. 또한 이 곡은
커트 코베인 본인의 어머니와 자신과의 관계에 대한 곡이라는 해석도 있다.
