미국의 R&B 걸그룹 TLC의 싱글이며 이들의 2집 앨범 CrazySexyCool의 첫 싱글로 1994년 10월 31일에 발매되었다.

파격적인 가사와 세련된 곡 구성으로 1994년 말 ~ 1995년 사이에 공전의 히트를 거두었다.

힙합 소울의 영향을 강하게 받은 R&B 사운드 위로 티보즈의 편안한 보컬과 TLC 멤버들이 만들어내는 하모니가 올라가 조화를 이루는 곡이다.

5. 차트 성적[편집]

빌보드 R&B 차트에서 1994년 12월 둘째 주부터 1995년 2월 첫째 주까지 9주 연속 1위, 빌보드 핫 100에서 1995년 1월 넷째 주부터 2월 셋째 주까지 4주 연속 1위를 기록했다.

1995년 빌보드 R&B 연말 차트에서 1위, 1995년 빌보드 핫 100 연말 차트에선 3위, 빌보드 핫 100 1990년대 총결산 차트에서 21위, 1958년~2018년 빌보드 핫 100 올타임 차트에선 172위에 올랐다.

현재는 라디오헤드의 동명의 곡 Creep에 인지도가 묻히는 경향이 있지만, 발매 당시 성적은 이쪽이 훨씬 좋았다. 라디오헤드의 곡은 빌보드 최고 34위, UK 차트 최고 7위에 그쳤지만, 이 곡은 빌보드 1위도 4주나 한 메가히트곡이다. 물론 라디오헤드의 곡 장르 특징상 빌보드에 그다지 유리하지 않은 점은 고려해야 한다.
