미국의 디스코/Funk 밴드 Chic의 싱글이며 이들의 2집 앨범 C'est Chic의 첫 싱글로 1978년 9월 21일에 발매되었다.


2. 상세[편집]

Good Times와 함께 Chic을 대표하는 곡이며, Chic의 최대 히트곡이자 디스코 음악의 최전성기를 대표하는 곡 중 하나이다.

시크의 기타리스트였던 나일 로저스와 베이시스트였던 버나드 에드워즈가 이 곡의 작사/작곡 및 프로듀싱을 맡았다.

미국 내에서만 400만 장이 넘게 팔렸고[3], 해외에서도 큰 성공을 거두어 프랑스에서 70만 장[4], 영국에서 50만 장[5], 캐나다에서 30만 장[6]이 팔렸다. 전 세계적으로 700만 장 이상이 팔려 세계에서 가장 많이 팔린 싱글에 등재되었다.
