리처드 셔먼, 로버트 셔먼, 조지 스타일스가 작곡,
리처드 셔먼, 로버트 셔먼, 앤서니 드루가 작사하였으며 조지 뱅크스 역의 데이비드 헤이그, 위니프레드 뱅크스 역의 린지 헤이틀리, 제인 뱅크스 역의 샬롯 스펜서, 마이클 뱅크스 역의 해리 스톳이 노래를 불렀다.
작품의 마지막에서 뱅크스 가족은 메리 포핀스가 떠난 것을 알게 되고, 다함께 창밖의 유성을 보며 메리 포핀스를 잊지 않겠다고 이야기한다. 이윽고 메리 포핀스가 뱅크스 가 위를 지나 멀리 날아가며 막을 내린다.
